Issue #121

Hi everyone,

As we wrap up the year, I wanted to share something simple and genuinely useful. It is a framework that has grounded me through every season of growth and reinvention.

It is called the 40/40/20 Rule of Networking and it is one of the reasons I have been able to build relationships that actually move my career forward, not just fill up space on a calendar.

Here is the idea:

40%: Spend time with people who are ahead of you.
They stretch your thinking and show you new possibilities.

40%: Stay connected with people growing at the same pace.
These are the peers who sharpen you, challenge you, and remind you you are not doing this alone.

20%: Pour into people who are a few steps behind.
Not because you have everything figured out, but because teaching is one of the best ways to deepen your own clarity.

Most people stay stuck in one group.

But when you keep this balance, your network becomes an ecosystem, not an accident.

A question for this week:

Who sits in your 40/40/20 right now?
And what would shift for you if that balance changed?

Even a small adjustment can transform your opportunities in 2026.

Wishing you a calm and intentional holiday season,
Katheline
